Procedure for proposed amendments to Bylaws and Standing Rules

In accordance with Bouchercon Bylaws and Standing Rules, the Board of Directors announces that June 8, 2025, is the deadline for submitting any proposed amendments to the Bylaws or Standing Rules. This date is ninety days before the General Members Meeting to be held in New Orleans on September 6. The Board will duly consider written amendments proposed in good faith by the deadline. Proposed amendments that are added to the General Members Meeting agenda will be included in the Voters’ Guide, which will be distributed to registered attendees about sixty days before the meeting. They will also be made available at the meeting itself. Proposed amendments must be signed and emailed to proposal@bouchercon.com. No proposed amendments will be accepted after the deadline nor from the floor of the General Members Meeting, and no anonymous proposed amendments will be considered.
